Former information minister of Sindh, Sharjeel Memon got bail from the Sindh High Court on Tuesday in a corruption case. In the previous hearing on a bail plea, the court had reserved its decision.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested him in October and also SHC rejected his bail at that time. Sources said that he was asked to submit Rs5 million security bonds and his name was also placed on Exit Control List (ECL).
Twelve others are also accused of corruption cases along with Sharjeel Memon in the advertisement of Sindh campaigns in electronic media. Other who are accused in the case include official members of IT department, bureaucrats and members of private media agencies.
