Lahore: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto on Sunday referred to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government as “inefficient” and “incompetent”; further stating that the federal executive is unable to manage the administrative and economic affairs of the country.
“The incumbent rulers are inefficient and good for nothing as they can neither run the country nor its economy as a result of which [economic] conditions [of the country] are going from bad to worse,” Dawn quoted the PPP leader as saying at the residence of PPP Lahore chapter President Azizur Rehman Chan.
He said that the government did not make any efforts to control inflation, which had burdened the working class of the country. He further stated that the PTI government had “sacrificed the economic rights of the people at the altar of the IMF”.
“The PTI deal with the IMF is against the people of Pakistan,” he said.
Moreover, Bilawal urged the general public to become “a voice of the PPP”; stating that his party had always worked for the uplift of the general public – including women, students, and labourers.
