Zaira Waseem got fame after her movie with one of the Khans of Bollywood, Amir Khan. She worked with him in a film call Dangal. She is a born Kashmiri. Recently she shared a post on Facebook that announced her disassociation with Bollywood. She later shared that post on all social media platforms.
The actress said that she was not happy with her line of work and that it was affecting her Iman. She said that even though she looks perfect in Bollywood but she feel she does not fit there. She came to Bollywood five years ago and got immediate fame. She was also considered as a role model for the youth but now she is quitting Bollywood. She said that she was not happy while working and it felt like she was trying to be someone else all this time and not herself.
The 18 year old actress said that this field also bought love, support and encouragement her way but that made her ignorant and her religion was affected by it and she was transitioned out of faith. She said that she tried convincing herself that she knew what she was doing but it was all in vain. She said that “In the great and divine wisdom of the Quran, I found sufficiency and peace. Indeed the hearts find peace when it acquires the knowledge of Its Creator, His Attributes, His Mercy and His commandments.”
Zaira said her journey was exhausting as she was battling with her soul for a very long time and now she is clear about her decision and she advised that no matter how much fame, wealth or success you get, it is not worthy if you are losing your faith.
