One of the top dramas on the run these days; Mere Mohsin is an intense and relatable love story of two individuals Soha and Mohsin who belong to two entirely different backgrounds. They chose to marry without the consent of their parents, but their family struggles and commitments land them in a never-ending cycle of issues that hinder their married life.
Under the banner of 7thSky Entertainment, Mere Mohsin is raking in overwhelming feedback and massive ratings due to its relatable storyline, an immensely talented cast, and the admirable onscreen chemistry between Syed Jibran and Rabab Hashim. Although it’s their first play together, both fan favorites have managed to pull together flawless onscreen chemistry, fitting into the skin of their respective characters perfectly.
This week’s episode took the story forward on a positive note. Soha, who had always looked down upon her stepmom and hated her, finally came to terms with her and apologized for everything she had done wrong. The scene between the two was very emotional and the dialogues were soul-stirring, leaving the viewers teary-eyed.
With this long-awaited patch up between the mother-daughter duo, Aliya made Soha realize the importance of marriage and how her rash decision of divorce could ruin her and her child’s life. On the other hand, Mohsin’s sister Batool also played a significant role in bringing the couple together whilst clearing all misunderstandings in Soha’s heart for Mohsin. So the love birds finally reunited and Mohsin brought Soha back to his house only to shock and upset his mother and elder sister Jahan Ara, who had planned on getting them divorced.
As for the actors, Syed Jibran deserves a round of applause for adding charm to his character. The versatile actor is very realistically portraying the struggles of a middle-class man who is always striving to keep a balance between his close relations. Rabab Hashim is also playing Soha with perfection, portraying very realistically the emotions and struggle of a girl who has chosen to leave behind the luxuries of life to marry someone from a middle-class background. Among the supporting actors; Fazila Qazi, Mariyam Nafees, Saba Hameed, and Erum Akhtar are delivering amazing performances in their respective roles.
With Mohsin and Soha together again after realizing their mistakes, we are excited to find out how the two will fight the upcoming battles of life together and how their baby will bring more positivity in their life.
