On Wednesday two people lost their lives because of some unidentified men opened fire at them. This incident happened at the Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore. The victims Zain Rafique and Ikram were returning from Saudi Arabia after performing Umrah.
They were killed by shots, airport security has taken the suspect in to custody. After further investigation it was revealed that Rafique had a police case filed against him and he was accused of killing PPP’s activist Babar Butt.
Butt who was killed was an active member of People’s Youth Organisation (PYO) and he also contested for the seat of Punjab Assembly PP-157 in 2013. He was given the ticket by PPP. Now security check on the vehicles has been increased and a huge amount of Police men have also been sent there. According to the sources a third man name Ansar was also injured during the shooting.
