Since the start of the World Cup it has been a roller coaster ride for the Pakistani people. If we look from the start things were not in the favour of Pakistan but after winning three matches consecutively it seemed as though the World Cup might come home this time. Sarfaraz Ahmed, skipper Pakistani team admitted that team needs a miracle to go further into the semi-finals.
Since England qualified for the semi-finals, things got difficult for Pakistan and not to forget Pakistan lost four one day internationals against Bangladesh. Sarfaraz said that everyone in the World Cup is there to win and all the teams give it their best shot so if we are being realistic only a miracle can help Pakistan win. He further added that it was a difficult pitch that was on the slower side.
Although at the start, Pakistan won only one match out of five but they made a strong comeback against South Africa, New Zealand and Afghanistan. Still if Pakistan qualifies for the semi-finals teams like England, Australia and India would be there to compete and yes, we would need a miracle to win.
