Pakistan’s late philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi’s life and work has been illustrated into a children’s book titled ‘Edhi Baba’.
Illustrated by Maria Riaz Tauseef, the book focuses on Edhi’s philanthropy work.
In an interview to Samaa TV, Tauseef stated that, the late Edhi is Pakistan’s national hero, and she wanted to present him as a super hero whose super power is being generous when it comes to help others and by doing so one becomes a super hero.
She also said that with the help of this illustration book she is stepping in as a social entrepreneur and is also donating the profits with Edhi Foundation because it is currently struggling with funds.
