Surkhiyan: Who is your inspiration in acting?
Sana Askari: Speaking honestly, no inspiration as such though I have few favourites like Meryl Streep, Natalie Portman and Sania Saeed.
Surkhiyan: Share some interesting moments from your artistic career or personal life?
SA: The interesting experience was the way I joined the industry absolutely HADSATI never in my wildest dream I thought I would become an actor.
Surkhiyan: What is your dream role?
SA: God has been very kind through out I have done a lot of characters which any actress would have loved or wanted to do so I have been blessed that way.
Surkhiyan: You are recently blessed with a baby. How it changed your life?
S.A: Nyle, my son has been a huge change in my life he made me a mother and it is the biggest blessing of my life and nothing can be bigger than that…He makes sure that we follow a routine now that I never had before.
Surkhiyan: What are your upcoming projects?
S.A: Actually, I just resumed work after a gap of almost 3 years. So, just started working again on a project with Six Sigma Productions that is directed by legendary Saba Hameed and it is a great experience working with her. In fact, experience of a lifetime and learning a lot from her. Apart from that I am presently reviewing couple of scripts so let’s see what I do next.
Surkhiyan: Starting from today where do you see yourself after 10 years?
S.A: Well, I don’t know what I will do in next 10 minutes so 10 years is completely out of question no clue.
Surkhiyan: Are you interested in doing movies?
S.A: To be honest, I have lot of reservations when it comes to movies or for that matter even dramas I can’t dance and I have lot of reservations with the clothes I will have to wear…So, If I find some good script with strong role for myself why not? I would definitely, give it a try.
Surkhiyan: Are you interested in doing negative roles?
S.A: I have done gazillion negative roles because I love them there’s a lot of margin to act.
